• All Members get to row on beautiful Lake Mendota from the historic Bernard's Boathouse.  Membership has it's privileges!  
  
• Your Club is run by volunteers.  In addition to Membership Fees, all Members are expected to volunteer the following number of hours per year: 

- Full-year members  - 15 hours/year 

- Monthly members - 2 hours/month. 

If you are not able to fulfill the volunteer requirements or do not want to volunteer, then you can buyout all your time for a non-refundable amount of $250/yr or $25/hr.

• Members are required to log their volunteer hours. 
• Members must read the Member Welcome Packet annually. It contains very important information about your membership.
• Members are expected to take turns as Coxswains on a rotation set by the coach.  Don't sweat it; everyone does it. If you are new to coxing, we'll show you how.          
• Anyone in a rowing shell (Coxswains and rowers) must complete a swim test every five years.     
• Rowers are encouraged but definitely not required to participate in regattas.  Regatta fees are set and paid for separately.  
• The board reserves the right to unseat rowers from practice and regattas if dues are not paid in a timely manner.
